Details of Qualifications, Emoluments, and Duration are given below:
1 Name of the Position: CRS Project Fellow (Junior) -I
2 Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. (qualified not earlier than 3 years) in Physics with a minimum of 55% marks.
3 Project Title: To study structural, electronic and magnetic properties of half-metallic spintronics materials: Fe-based quaternary Heusler alloys
4 Sponsoring Agency and Scheme:
Sponsoring agency: UGC-DAE CSR
Scheme: Collaborative Research Scheme (CSR)
5 Duration of the Project: One year (may be extended to a total period of three years)
6 No. of positions: 01 (one)
7 Consolidated monthly Salary:
Rs. 14000/- + HRA per month (for CRS Project Fellow (Junior) -I)
Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month (for CRS Project Fellow (Junior) -II*)
*Subject to the fulfillment of the eligibility criteria and approval from the
funding agency.
8 Principal Investigator: Dr. Tapas Paramanik
9 Department: Department of Physics (SOS)
10 Tenure of Assignment:
One year or termination of the project whichever is earlier.
It can be extended for two more years based on satisfactory performance
of the candidate and availability of funds.
12 Age Limit: 28 years as on the closing date of the application (Age may be relaxed for
exceptional candidates)
13 Other Benefits: The selected candidate is eligible to register for Ph.D. degree at NIT
Andhra Pradesh as per institute rules and subject to the selection of the
candidates for the same.
